YOUNG LEADERS FELLOWSHIP

The Young Leaders Fellowship Program is a one-of-a-kind leadership opportunity open to all young people between 18 – 26 from all over the world who wish to address community projects in the areas of education, health, and economic security. The year-long program prepares young people to become leaders of change in their communities through leadership development, global citizenship, self-awareness, and vision planning.

During the program, participants go through the process of “vision planning” where they identify an issue facing their community and then produce an actionable plan. To prepare vision plans, participants are paired with Fellowship alumni mentors, who guide and mentor them throughout the year, helping them transform personal passion into a concrete project.

Usually, the Program begins with a 10-day intensive summer retreat in New York City, New York and Burlington, Vermont.

While the program’s goals remain the same, this year, for the third year in a row, the Young Leaders Fellowship team is implementing the program by adjusting it to fully virtual learning and one-on-one learning between mentors and mentees. Graduates are eligible to apply for the Alumni Ventures Fund grant.
