In partnership with MCW’s Jacqueline’s Human Rights Corner, MCW Global opened a community center in the village of Kayenzi, Bugesera in August 2011. Bugesera was chosen as the site for MC-Rwanda’s work in the country due to the high level of genocide survivors living in the region. Today, MCW Global works with the local MC-Rwanda Leadership Team (Board of Directors and Country Manager) to oversee the development and execution of the country plan for Rwanda. MC-Rwanda is registered with the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) as an international NGO. Read our FAQ.
